The cottages are surrounded by relaxing wide verandas ideal for al fresco entertainment, and overlooking spectacular landscaped rose gardens, a variety of large gum trees, and the Grandis eucalypt trees (from which Grandis Cottages derives its name). The large dam is also a relaxing feature of the grounds. Kangaroos are regular visitors to the parkland gardens and natural birdlife can be seen and heard throught the property.
